About Nic Thomas, Bristol web designer
Hi, I'm Nic.
I’ve been building websites since 1999, and I’ve run Individualise from Bishopston, Bristol since 2016. I build WordPress websites for owner-run businesses and charities, and then I look after them, often for years.
When I’m not looking after websites, you’ll usually find me at my allotment, doing DIY, or planning the next trip in the campervan.

That's me, Nic — building websites since 1999, and still the one who answers your questions.
How I work
I keep things simple. You get one person who knows your website inside out, explains things clearly and sticks around long after launch.
One person, start to finish.
The person who builds your site is the one who looks after it.
Long term support
Most clients have been with me for over five years.
Plain English
Clear explanations, no jargon, no blinding you with tech.
Flexible
A full plan or just hosting: I’ll suggest what you actually need.
Long-term relationships in their own words.

Good websites come from good working relationships.
These are the things I’ve held onto over the years, however much the web has changed around them.
Believe in the process
A process, not a straitjacket Structure that keeps things on track, with room to adapt.
Staying curious
Always learning, especially now AI is changing search.
Understanding first
I get to know your business before suggesting anything.
Clear communication
You’ll always know what’s happening and why.
